OUR STORY


Capo Caccia was founded in 2012 by Antonio Arca, a proud Sardinian with a deep love for the bold, traditional flavours of his homeland. After moving to London, Antonio set out to share the food he grew up with and the stories behind it, by connecting people with incredible regional ingredients from Sardinia and Northern Italy. 

Today, we source our full range directly from small-scale producers across Sardinia and Lombardy, two regions known for their rich culinary heritage and natural landscapes.

From Sardinia’s sun-drenched hills to Lombardy’s alpine pastures, the climate, clean air, and grazing traditions of each area make for truly exceptional food. Our collection includes bresola, mortadella, filetto, pecorino cheese, pane carasau, aged ricotta, and bottarga, as well as a variety of cured meats, including gluten and lactose free salami seasoned with wild fennel, myrtle leaves, and wine.

 

We also offer more rare finds like mustela (a southern Sardinian cured pork loin) and sea urchin. Every product is carefully selected for its quality, character, and connection to place.We travel regularly to meet our producers, many of whom we’ve known for years, ensuring everything we offer is made with integrity, tradition, and passion. Behind every flavour is a story worth sharing. 

We love introducing customers to new flavours and favourite staples alike. We also offer nationwide delivery across the UK through our online shop, so you can enjoy our full range wherever you are.

In addition, we supply our cheese and charcuterie wholesale to restaurants, delis, and independent food shops across the UK, helping chefs and retailers bring a true taste of Sardinia and Northern Italy to their customers.
