Shipping policy
Collection (Wednesdays and Fridays only)
If you wish to order your goods on line, and then pick them up from our Unit in East Dulwich, please specify the date and time for pick up in the checkout notes, and we will have your order waiting for you.
Delivery
We send out our online orders via Courier every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday carefully packed, to arrive by Saturday between 8AM and 8PM, to the address of your choice.
We ask that you place your order by end of day Thursday to guarantee your package is sent by Saturday; however it is always preferable to place your order 48 hours in advance wherever possible.
Requirements
It is necessary that someone is at the stated delivery address to receive the parcel. We will not leave parcels with neighbors or friends unless otherwise stated, as most of our goods are perishable and delicate.
At the checkout there is a box for notes - please use it to leave your alternative delivery address or some information if your address is hard to find. If you are unable to receive your parcel at a home address, delivery to work addresses is also possible. Please also include daytime, evening, or mobile numbers where you can, so we can ensure your delivery reaches you.
You will receive a tracking email from the courier when your order goes out for delivery. You can follow the progress of your order via the link in this email.
Please make sure that your house number and full postcode is stated on the order form.

If your order is delayed, please let us know as soon as you are aware of the issue. We will be happy to follow up directly with the courier on your behalf. Bear in mind that if you live in a remote rural area, or in the Scottish Highlands, delivery may take 2 days from dispatch.
If you are sending a gift to an address you are not familiar with it is worth checking with the receiver first.
If you'd like to receive your order at a specific day, it is important that you specify which date you require the package so it will be delivered as expected.
Packaging
We will send your goods in one of our cardboard boxes, insulated with bubble wrap and cut shredded paper. When the weather is warm, we will also include ice packs, which will melt in transit to help ensure all products stays cool for as long as possible. We do not deliver in refrigerated vans.
Returns
We don’t accept returns of perishable goods. The only products in our online shop which we can accept returns of are in the pasta, bread and olive oil sections. In the unlikely event that there is a quality concern around your order we would ask you to include some photos to help us better understand the issue as soon as possible.
