Sa Mola is a Cannonau di Sardegna, Alberto Loi DOC, Jerzu

100% Cannonau grapes

It has a Ruby red color. It is intense and complex, floral, fruity and fragrant on the nose with notes of mature plum, blackberry and rose petal alongside hints of wood and spices. The taste is dry, warm, fresh and tannic. It has good body with a pleasant velvety mouth feel and a long finish.

It is fermented with submerged cap in stainless steel silos at controlled temperature. It ages in oaks and refines in bottle.

It goes well with rich and tasty first courses or happily accompanies grilled meat and medium-aged cheese.

Serve at 14°C - 16°C

ABV: 14%

75cl bottle.

Vitivinicola Alberto Loi” was created at the end of the 1940s in the countryside of Cardedu, a few kilometres from Jerzu, in Ogliastra, the eastern-central region of the island of Sardinia, by Alberto Loi, born in Jerzu to a family of wine cultivators, producers of Cannonau wine. The estate’s 50 hectares span an area from the massive Gennargentu down to the sea, the best “terroir” of the Cannonau wine. The Vitivinicola is now run by Alberto Loi’s sons and daughter, the third generation of the Loi family.
