Invidia Gallurese is a Sardinian Vermentino di Gallura DOGC still white wine made from pure Vermentino grapes from vineyards in Località San Michele, in the Berchidda countryside in northern Sardinia.
Vermentino di Gallura grapes are grown in a typical Mediterranean climate characterised by spring and autumn rains, warm and breezy summers with significant temperature variations.
Tasting notes:
The nose offers a delicate scent of orange blossom and Mediterranean scrub, with fruity notes of pineapple and grapefruit. In the mouth, it is delicate, with a good structure, where a slight softness is combined with intense mineral sensations, resulting in savouriness and freshness, make it balanced and elegant.
Food pairing:
At the table, it is a perfect match for shellfish, molluscs and seafood, medium-matured cheeses and mild pecorino, and cured meats with a full but delicate flavour.
